Terms of use

By starting the AI-in-Engineering Readiness Scan you accept these terms. They are short on purpose. If you do not accept them, please do not start the scan.

1. Who provides this

The scan is provided by « to be completed by YER », trading as YER Tech Solutions. Full company details are on the contact page.

2. You are talking to an AI system

The scan is conducted by an AI system, not by a person. We tell you this before you start, and we repeat it throughout the conversation, as Article 50 of the EU AI Act requires. The system asks the questions, interprets your answers, and produces the report from them.

3. What the scan is, and what it is not

• It is a short, indicative reading of AI-in-engineering readiness, meant to start a conversation.
• It is not a certification, an audit, or a measurement, and it does not establish compliance with anything.
• It is not professional advice — not legal, financial, tax, employment or technical advice — and you should not make a decision on it alone.
• The report is generated by a language model and can contain mistakes. Check anything you intend to act on. The scan lets you correct any score before you submit, and we ask you to use it.
• The scan is an experimental prototype. It can change or be withdrawn without notice, and we do not promise that it will be available.

4. What we ask of you

• Use a genuine work email address, and use the scan for your own organisation.
• Do not enter confidential information, or personal data about other people. Your answers are processed by a third-party AI service, and you should assume that anything you type is stored.
• Do not use scripts, scrapers or automated tools against the site, and do not try to get around its usage limits.
• Do not attempt to extract the underlying instrument, prompts or model behaviour, and do not use the scan to build a competing service.

We apply usage limits per visitor and overall. If you reach one, the scan refuses to start. That is the limit working, not a fault.

5. Intellectual property

The readiness framework, the questions, the scoring, the report layout and the software are ours and stay ours. You keep everything you type. By running the scan you give us permission to use your answers as described in the privacy statement: to produce your report, to follow up with you, and, in aggregated and pseudonymised form, to improve the scan.

Your one-pager is yours. You may use and share it inside your own organisation freely.

6. Liability

The scan is offered free of charge and as it is, with no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the scan, or from any decision taken on the basis of its output. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for intent, deliberate recklessness, or death or personal injury.

7. Applicable law

Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent court in « to be completed by YER », unless a mandatory rule of law points somewhere else.

8. Changes and contact

We can change these terms. The version in force is the one published here when you run the scan, dated below. Questions: « to be completed by YER ».
